Most of us have old VHS tapes in the closet and the VP-100 keeps your VCR delievering a clean image. What more can I say---it works.
Ran this puppy about 5-6 times initially and run it again a couple of times after every 5-10 tapes - depending on whether the "snow" has returned.TIP: Adjust the tracking in both directions while running this cleaner; that will let the unit clean more of the head surface. An outstanding and indispensable product.Like a lot of people we had an entire library of VHS tapes that we wanted to convert to DVD in order to preserve the content. After doing about 10 of them the heads in our JVC VHS player had gotten pretty dirty I guess.
Our VCR is good as new. It was a great price and took less than 2 minutes to complete. After trying to view a bad library video tape, our VCR wouldn't play anything. All we had was "snow." I thought it was broken for good, but decided to give this product a try.
Would recommend this product over and over. Glad to find the Maxell VP100 VHS Dry Video Head Cleaner, this is far better then using the liquid head cleaner, it earier and quicker to use.
My order was processed and was delivered before the estimated delivery date. This product has done the "job". Now that players are more for DVDs, most department stores no longer stock VHS movies/tapes. I still watch VHS movies, and need a tape head cleaner for the section of my combo player.
